New partnership with Seton Hall University – Agreement for a Fulbright Research Lectureship academic years 2024-25, 2025-26 e 2026-27.
A Fulbright Research Lectureship grant in science, information and communication technology, and educational technology is available through a new partnership agreement between the U.S.-Italy Fulbright Commission and Seaton Hall University.
The opportunity is open to:
a. Full-time/part-time university researchers at Italian/European research centers/universities;
b. Associate professors at Italian/European research centers/universities;
c. Full professors at Italian/European research centers/universities;
d. Part-time professors with teaching duties at Italian/European research centers/universities.
The signing of the agreement took place on March 28, 2023, at the headquarters of the Commission in the presence of Katia Passerini, Italian Fulbright Alumna, a.y. 1994-95 currently Provost and Executive Vice President of Seton Hall University. Fulbright Commission Chair Rakesh Surampudi, Cultural Attaché U.S. Embassy and the Cons. Simona Battiloro, Head of Office IV DGDP at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as representative of Min. Alessandro De Pedys, Vice Chair of the Commission, were there.
Katia Passerini said: “I am immensely pleased to have signed a new partnership agreement with the Fulbright Commission. In this way, excellent scholars will have the opportunity to join Seton Hall to deepen their knowledge in the fields of science, information and communication technologies and educational technology. Both countries will benefit of the exchange in these disciplines.
Paola Sartorio, Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission, said: “I am grateful and very satisfied to have signed this new agreement. I am sure that Fulbright fellows will be able to capitalize on this further possibility of funding their research abroad in such a topical field with a great impact on Italian and international society.”

Seton Hall University is in South Orange, New Jersey. Founded in 1856 by James Roosevelt Bayley, it has approximately 10,000 students.
Since 1948, the U.S. Italy Fulbright Commission promotes Cultural Exchanges between Italy and the United States. It is a binational body which, on a mandate from the U.S. State Department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has managed the Fulbright Program in Italy, a cultural exchange program aimed at Italians and Americans interested in seizing study, research, and teaching opportunities in Italy and in the USA.
